2 out of 5 stars Did not fit my netbook. AsusEee 1000   July 7, 2010
Bobby Branham (Orange County, CA)
I checked the numbers against the model of my netbook and the numbers matched but when I received the adapter, it did not fit the power connector. Found one that does fit in a local store where I could test the match.

1 out of 5 stars Great shipping, Bad everything else.   June 21, 2010

I purchased the charger for my 900A on Friday, June 18th and received it around 10AM the next day (kudos to the seller and Amazon for expedited shipping options) Around 10:30AM, I began charging the computer. Around 12:45PM, the pop-up notification for battery mode/AC mode kept toggling. I checked my monster power cleaner to see if there was anything wrong with my power. Nothing wrong there, so I checked to see if I unplugged it or if the cord wasn't secured in the brick only to find the brick was smoking and the plastic melting. When I went to unplug it from the power cleaner, I heard a pop coming from the brick and noticed that I could now see the red and white wires at the top of the charger (there is a black "casing" normally). I have four pictures for anyone who would like to see it.

I personally think it's just a defective unit and that it's not really a knock against the seller. I've had terrible experiences with expedited shipping and lousy sellers and they traditionally go hand in hand. If I had to, I would buy from the seller again.

1 out of 5 stars Cheap quality and won't last   June 18, 2010

This power cord was purchased to replace the original cord which was damaged. The power cord is much shorter and wire is smaller gauge compared to original. It worked for approximately 3 weeks and then would not charge any longer. I would not recommend this product.

BEWARE of this cheap charger. I bought it for my 1000HE after the original charger died, but once i plugged in my laptop and turned it on it died within five minuets. It never turned on again, IT FRIED MY LAPTOP. all specs on the charger match the originals perfectly. the charging battery light no longer blinks when plugged in, I have tried everything to fix it/recover it. BEWARE OF THIS CHARGER, IT MIGHT PERMANENTLY KILL YOUR LAPTOP.
