Stylish Laptop Case July 17, 2010 Mr. Bey (Riverside, CT United States) When one is looking for a laptop case there are a few features that it must have. For one, it must actually work, something that this case does quite well. It's very soft and durable. While I didn't test this out by dropping it with my laptop in it, I can attest that it works quite well.
Laptop cases aren't exactly hard to come by which leads me to my next point. This laptop case is very stylish and hardly even looks like a laptop case. It gives your laptop a nice protection while at the same time allowing you to maintain a professional image should you pull it out at a business meeting. Some laptop cases sacrifice looks for added durability but this one manages to look sleek and cool without letting any of its function go.
My last point of focus is the price. For a mere eighteen dollars this case could be yours. Most iPod cases will run you higher than this and that's for the lower end ones. This sleeve is a bargain and I trust my laptop in it. I can't recommend it enough.
Might as Well Use a Sweater July 15, 2010 A* (New York, N.Y. United States) It's cute, let's just get that out of the way. It's a lovely, soft knit that goes with just about anything, but it's not sturdy at all. It's built around flimsy foam. The good thing is I was able to squeeze my netbook in there, a samsung, and have enough room to squeeze in the power cord/brick. It is a better alternative to the flimsy pouch that came with my netbook but I would just want to opt for something a bit more sturdy, if this the case logic was built around a decent protective shell it would be a must buy, but as it stands, it's great to keep out dust and anything else unwanted that's unwanted.
For the trendy girl in you! July 14, 2010 Candace Beauchamp (Austin, TX) My first thought on seeing this netbook sleeve was "Wow! Now that looks different!" The knit look for the outside of the sleeve gives it a warm and personal feel. The added texture on the outside gives it a nice grippy yet soft feel. When you open it, the hot pink and very silky interior just shouts feminine.
The interior is very roomy. My netbook (which is purple) fits nicely inside with room to spare for my mouse (also purple). This brings me to my one complaint about netbook sleeves in general: Why don't you give us a pocket to put stuff in? I'm always afraid that my mouse will scratch the finish of my netbook.
That one complaint aside (which is a general netbook sleeve complaint), this is an awesome netbook sleeve. It is functional and professional while at the same time being trendy and stylish. In a world of ho-hum netbook sleeves this one really stands out.
Nice case, looks good - functional. July 13, 2010 P. Breakfield IV (Greenville, SC United States) This is a nice netbook sleeve, however it is a little big for my iPad and I wouldn't really recommend it for an iPad. It seems well made and is attractive enough, but doesn't have many bells or whistles. It is a basic unit. For the price, it is a good carry case for a netbook if you don't need anything but a nice-looking basic case.
A good sleeve with a not-so-great look... July 13, 2010 J. Nusz Case Logic ENST-110K 7 - 10.2-Inch Laptop/iPad/Netbook Sleeve (Cableknit) is a good sleeve with a not-so-great look. The cableknit-patterned material on the outside of the sleeve is not as attractive on the case as it appears to be in the photo of the product. The gray cableknit pattern resembles an old-fashioned sweater. However, the cableknit material is the only detractor for the sleeve. The inside of the sleeve is quite attractive and the sleeve is perfect for protecting your iPad or netbook.
The sleeve has a lot of padding and works great to cushion and protect my iPad when not in use. The smooth, attractive fuscia-colored material inside the sleeve prevents scratches on the surface of the iPad. The zipper on the sleeve is large, and opens wide enough to allow convenient access to the iPad inside, yet prevent it from sliding out sideways if I happen to forget to zip the sleeve.
This Case Logic sleeve is well made, with sturdy stitching and a sturdy zipper. I really like the convenience and protection of this case and would recommend the product for protecting iPads and netbooks. I only wish it were a little more attractive on the outside.
