soft and sturdy but... July 29, 2010 Janet E. Throneberry (Rural, TN) I LOVE this case, but I'd sure like for it to be roomy enough for the adapter/plug.
bought this for the acer 1410 12" laptop... July 3, 2010 R. Mathew Great looking and functional laptop case perfect for the acer 12" laptop and pretty much any 12" laptops I am sure. Has a separate pouch for the accessories. Though the pouch is not that big, it will hold the long power chord of the laptop and also an external mouse. Overall this is a great laptop bag.

I bought this based on the other reviewers stating that it's a nice, snug fit for an Acer 11.6" laptop. Well, let me tell you... with an Acer AS1410T, it's significantly bigger than it needs to be: While the width of the sleeve is good, there's nearly an entire extra inch in height between the zipper and the edge of the computer, and the thickness of the sleeve could easily be reduced by a 1/4" without being tight. I don't blame the other reviewers here -- apparently there is a wide ride of overall "footprint" sizes for the Acer 11.6" machines, and in particular the 1410 (not the "T" version) I'm told *is* just about an inch wider when the larger battery is used -- in which case it probably does fit quite well. (Note that I have the standard 6-cell battery for the 1410T, which is flush with the back of the laptop.)
As far as I can tell, this is a generic bag by CaseCrown that Senyx re-labels as being for anything that's "somewhat close" to the right size. There's nothing wrong with that, it's just too bad they don't have more precise measurements or perhaps a table of some "representative" laptops and a chart of whether the fit is loose or snug.
The actual quality of the case is quite good; I ordered the red version, and it does look really sharp. The case is definitely worth the asking price if it'll fit your machine!
One final note: If you do have a 1410T, 1810T, AOD750, etc. (all these models have largely identical footprints/case shapes), check out this CaseCrown case: [...] (ignore the fact that it says it's for a Sony -- recall what I mentioned above about CaseCrown "generic" cases...). It's made of nylon and neoprene so it doesn't look quite as flashy as this case, but it *does* fit a 1410T snugly and is roughly the same price.

I'd been looking for a carry case for my 10" Acer for a while. Most were either too small or too large. This one was a Perfect Fit: Along with an outside pocket to store my external CD drive, and wireless mouse. And very attractive!
