I purchased this case to carry my slim DVD PORTABLE WRITER and everything fits perfectly! There is even enough room to carry the power adapter and other items neatly.

It isn't often necessary to transport my Iomega 1TB external drive from place to place, but when it is, I use the Caselogic HDC-3 hard drive case to do it. The drive, USB cable and power supply fit nicely in the case - there is plenty of room, but not so much that the contents can flop around inside when the case is zipped closed. I purchased the HDC-3 based on previous experience with Caselogic prodcuts, and this product reinforces my high opinion.

Can carry lots of different devices (one at a time ;-) -- classic big external 3.5" HDDs w/ adapters & cables, multimedia HDDs (that is what i carry currently), portable DVD players, small laptops/netbooks etc. Or just your lunch :-). Anyway, great solution for people on the go! Quality is perfect - this is CaseLogic!

It is perfect for my LaCie Hard Disk (1 terabyte Design by Neil Poulton), and all of its cables, even a second smaller drive fits in there with good protection.

This case has lots of space. The divider in the middle is attached with vecro so it's adjustable. It's angled-tapers near the bottom. Construction is clean and looks fairly strudy. Stands up on it's own. The bottom is flat and seems sturdy, the sides are still soft so it's not quite a strong as an otterbox for example, but no one said it suppose to be. Comes with a grey nylon shoulder strap.
